Specifically, why do reporters stretch the truth so far in order to influence public opinion? I am aware that in this country there is "no news like bad news", but I am looking deeper than that for reasoning.

well honestly i think its because Jews own the media. (no offense to jews)

Its true, jews own the media. its a small country like other countries, yet when something happens in israel its headline news.
