Besides the other bands listed Dream Theater is a good choice. But I would advise you listen to Awake first. And for a newer progressive rock band, Mars Volta is very progressive in the way King Crimson is. Some might not agree, but I think King Crimson played a huge influence for them.

Paramore, not fully mainstream, but they're coming out, and they have 4 videos. Pressure, Emergency, Crushcrushcrush, and Misery Business.
Crushcrushcrush is the most recent, it and Misery Business, are from the new album Riot!
And Emergency and Pressure are from All We Know Is Falling. Emergency and Misery Business are the only popular ones so far.
