i mean, i realize that the crushing of rival Nebraska may not seem like a big deal anymore, but not only beating, but dominating a good Texas Tech team should have moved them up more than 2 spots in the rankings

They are a good team, but who are they going to move ahead of? All the teams ahead of them, save Florida, have as good or better records. And all of them, save Kansas and BC who are both undefeated, have played schedules just as tough as Missouri.

But Missouri is in a good position. Its just outside the top ten. It controls its own destiny and can grab a BCS game by winning out (or even losing another game). It has a realistic, but outside, shot at a berth in the BCS Championship. There are 100 teams below it that would love to be in the place Mizzou finds itself in now.

What do you want? Only two teams ranked higher than them lost. Why should they skip over another team that also won?
