Fiat currencies tend to weaken when you have a lot of fiscal stimulus (government spending), as in a war. Though, that effect is moderated if you also have strong economic growth at the same time (as can also happen durring a war). How other currencies are doing, globally, will also have an effect.
However, the US has been persuing what amounts to a 'weak dollar' policy for decades now, and a generally inflationary policy for even longer. If you don't remember WWII, prices have gone up your entire life, and will likely continue to go up for the balance of it. Really, you should be used to it by now.

Let me preface saying I'm a Democrat.
War no Bombing Yes
Whether we give Israel the green light or we do it ourselves, Iran is too radical and dangerous to have a nuclear bomb.
No need to send any troops but after we bomb most likely they will send troops into Iraq to try to get back at us

It will fall, we are borrowing money now to support Iraq war now we must find more money to support a war with Iran? Our lenders are going to want their money back soon, unless we are doing the bidding of our lenders...
