The leaves will kill my ground cover. Also it is a fire problem. The leaves are dry and dead. If there is a fire like forest fire the grass will not burn as quickly but the leaves will ignite very fast. I saw it here in Florida a few years ago with all all forest fires that we had. Ever since I rake those leaves away from my house.

They are like snow. They are pretty for a couple of days and then they aren't so pretty anymore. Also, they damage the grass if left unraked and, as some already answered, they are hard to get up once they have been sitting there and have gotten wet, etc.

at my house we get so many leaves that they would be over a foot high if you didn't rake them and we have dogs so they need the yard to do there business in and i personally don't want to step in they wastes. buy ur right, they are pretty.

does mother nature rake her leaves???? why not run over them with a lawn mower and mulch them up and be more like mother nature

I could be a Fire hazard, it can keep the ground wet and promote mold & mildew, rot grass & smell bad.
