i think this is how you solve this question....
First, you think of what numbers add up to 11.
There is:
1,10
2,9
3,8
4,7
5,6
then, you have to find all of thier recipricals.
*a reciprical is a number's opposite, or flipped upside down.
For example, the number 4, which can also be written as 4/1's reciprical is 1/4.
So..
1,10 = 1/1,1/10
2,9 = 1/2,1/9
3,8 = 1/3,1/8
4,7 = 1/4,1/7
5,6 = 1/5,1/6
Then, now that you know the recipricals, you need to find the least common denominator (LCD), of each equation...
1/1,1/10...LCD=10...10/10,1/10
1/2,1/9...LCD=18....9/18,2/18
1/3,1/8...LCD=24...8/24,3/24
1/4,1/7...LCD=28...7/28,4/28
1/5,1/6...LCD=30...6/30,5/30
Then, you add the new fractions...
10/10+1/10=11/10
9/18+2/18=11/18
8/24+3/24=11/24
7/28+4/28=11/28
6/30+5/30=11/30
Then, you find the lowest value...which is 11/30, so the answer is.......The smallest possible sum of thier recipricals is 11/30.
**I hope that is right...haha

A reciprocal is the inverse fraction of a number. An integer can be written as a fraction by putting a 1 in the denominator. Therefore 3 could be written 3/1 (three over one) and it's reciprocal would be 1/3 (one-third).

My answer is the integars are 10 and 1. The recipricols would be 1/10 and 1/1. Recipricols is when you turn the fraction over. So the recipricol for 10/1 is 1/10. The smallest sum of their recipricols is 11/30.

recipocals are when you turn the number upside down and add a i on the top.
of
So the reciprocal
3=1/3
3/6=6/3
1/8=8
So just flip em
