Yes, 2003 Paradise fire, had a fire in my home earlier this year and had a fire in another home I owned several years ago. No, it is not the worst thing, but it is horrible. I've lived through the LA riots, that was really scary. I had a tornado come up my street, that was frightening. I was in the Philippines when a typhoon hit, that was harrowing. And, I had life threatening illness, THAT was the worst thing! The good news is that I survived.

yea fire is the worse thing. i'm living in a fire-prone area. it's just hours or days before they evacuate the area where i live.

even though i live where the fires are happening,
i haven't actually been "in" a fire.

unfotunatly yes, it is a terrifying experience, you get disoriented real fast.
