the yankees arent playing because theyre a boughten team with abosolutely no heart or chemistry... in addition to that, the front office is now run by a couple of dummies who have no spine as evidicenced by the torre debacle....the yankees are on their way down.. with this front office bunch, they are going away for a long time...

1)they got beat straight up. the indians beat them with pitching
2)mbsports, not true. they have JOBA, phil hughes melky cabrera, edwar ramirez, and even derek jeter and rivera are homegrown talent
3)there bats just werent working in this series flat out simple

Because they don't spend crazy anymore. They let Boston do that. Can you believe some idiot Boston fan wrote that New York "does not grow their talent"! You know that Beckett, Oritz, Manny, Lowell, Drew, Crisp, Matsuzaka, Shilling, Okajima, Lugo, Kielty, Gagne and many others came from the Boston tree, right???? What do you mean they were not part of the Boston farm system?? Crazy!
