About 50%

How do you define a "Jewish neighborhood"?

I would say the Jewish neighbourhoods include Forest Hill/Cedarvale (wealthy and Reform), Bathurst/Glencairn (orthodox) , Bathurst/Steeles (heavily Russian) and the western half of Thornhill (orthodox).

Overall I'd guess around 50% live in predominately Jewish neighborhoods,.though almost all Jews live west of Dufferin and east of Leslie Not all are necessarily in "Jewish" neighborhoods.. For instance North Toronto, York Mills, Willowdale and Thornhill/Markham have significant numbers of Jews (but very few orthodox).

A growing number of Jews live downtown and this population is very secular and loosely affiliated. Many would identify as being ethnically Jewish but not of the Jewish religion. The very bookish Annex in particular has a big progressive Jewish subculture.

Based on this census map of Toronto's neighborhoods, I would say at least 50% of Jews live in a jewish neighborhood.

I would say about 90% based on my experience in working with Jewish people for most of my life.

I would say almost all Orthodox would. As you need to live in walking distance of a synagogue. Reform however has people who drive. Now secular would be spread about as well.
