Aww, that's so sweet! Over the weekend, I helped an elderly woman carry her groceries up to her apartment.

Hmmm,...whenever I see someone desperately searching for a place to put the shopping cart after they loaded up the car, I ALWAYS take it. Today it was at the Wal-Mart for an 83 year old woman and she said thanks about 15 times. Last week gave a homeless person a meal, a 10 dollar gift card to the Dollar Tree store just across the street, and a little ziploc bag (I always s keep several in the glove box) full of little stuff to help them feel a bit better!

In the bag I put in little bottles of soap, shampoo, mouthwash from hotels or trail sizes, toothbrush, pack of gum, mints, and a note saying I wish I could do more, but we struggle ourselves.

Makes me feel SOOOOO good and my kids get very excited to help someone!!!!!!

I helped an old guy with advice on his oil and oil filter for his car in a store I didn't work in. Made him happy, made the over-worked staff happy, and made me happy because I did 2 good deeds at once.
I try to do one random act of kindness a day, even if it is just letting someone in to the traffic. There are rules: it has to be outside the home environment and be done without premeditation.

I wrote a letter to a rip-off merchant for someone. I also recently made emergency alterations to a Bride's dress so the Wedding could take place a couple of days later. Gives me a 'feel good factor' when I solve problems for my friends. Trouble is I'm not getting my own affairs in order so gotta take some 'me-time' soon.

While waiting at the pharmacy window, I payed a 2 dollar insurance co-pay for a lady who had no cash and looked like she needed desperately to get home and lie down. Funny thing- I won the $2 in a meaningless, causal little bet that morning.

that is soooo sweet, i love to buy homeless people stuff...i hate to see pain and suffering if i can help it. my grandfather just passed away this month and i have offered to go live with my grandmother so that she will have company and someone to help her around the house. she is in her 80's and she needs help. otherwise she would have to move closer to her kids in a colder climate, which isnt good for her bones! so i am packing up and headin out of texas in a few months, to go live in an retirement suburb in ocala florida, with tons of retired folks! and i will be the hippest 25 year old at the bingo hall!

Strange, but a guy bought me a cup of tea this morning and am not homeless.
Forget what you do for others but always remember the good others do to you.

I fed the chickens and cat of my neighbours while they were away. That's not too much but I have a big, wet paddock to cross including 2 streams and heaps of sheep poos. No big deal, not even random, just an act of kindness. And a pleasure. Good on you for yours. :)
