In order to save face, should the Rockies take their cue from the 1904 New York Giants and refuse to play the Red Sox in the World Series? It seems the only prudent and honorable thing to do right now.

Well it wouldn't make a difference if they did or didn't because they're going to be slaughtered if they don't and if they do then they still lose. I say they shouldn't though because it's ging to be fun to watch the Red Sox tee off.

no they should not. Even though the Rockies had a 9 day layoff they are still as hot as ever. Rockies won the season series against the Red Sox, so they have a pretty good chance of winning it all.

WHY? The Rockies are the hottest team in baseball right now winning 21 of their last 22 and sweeping their two series to get here. They are only the second team in MLB history to do that and the first since the wildcard format started so they have reasn to forfiet. They will win this world also, it might take 5 games but they will win it.

Sounds good, but at least let them play 1 game. The Sox are the scariest in ball right now. Forfeiting sounds like a good idea. It'll save everyone a week of life.
