and for what album was it for?

Me:
It was also my very first concert overall (i wasnt really into music before) and i don't know what took me so long, i was already a fan of Revenge and i loved what i heard from Bullets, cuz i went to a Parade concert. It was Chicago's Twisted 13 in december of '06 with Rise Against and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I felt like i was in the right place, finally, when i arrived 6 hours beforehand. (my sisters didnt want to go at eleven am) i liked RJA and loved Rise Against. Then before MCR came, there were these two drunk girls that looked like paris hilton wannabes who wouldnt stop buggin us, luckily they left before they came. They kinda ruined it until MCR came. And when Gerard started singing the intro to The End, i nearly bursted out into tears. At the end of the concert, i got a charlie horse but then i got one of bobs drumsticks and it was the best day ever. no pun intended. i want to go to more of their concerts, but im broke and i need a job.=P

The concert was a year ago, so I was 15. Like most of the people here my parents thought i was too young to go and my dad really hated the neighborhood the Aragon Ballroom is, even though its absolutely beautiful there....i really need more cash to go. I was once looking online to see if they were on tour and i found 30 seconds to mars had a concert in chicago and i told my older sis, cuz she really likes them, and she asked if i wanted to go. I adamantly told her no, cuz i wanted MCR to be the very first.

omfg, it will be the best night of your life!!! i saw them at the hard rock, and it was the best show ive ever seen. gerards voice is so amazing, and theyre aweosme live. its ok if you get there 2 hours ahead. just be sure to push your way up to the front! i wish i could have been a little closer, but i was only like 20 feet away at most. yea, wear shoes that you dont realy mind if they get all screwed up. because at the end of the concert, there will be a huge puddle of soda under your feet. the shirts are 20$ and the hoodies are like 40$ or 45$. the shirts are awesome too!! i got a i survived the black parade shirt and a 'the end' shirt. theyre so awesome! o yea, if you want, you can take some pics at the concert, or video or w/e. i didnt, because i kinda wanted to just think about the concert, and not worrying about how the videos gonna turn out. but be sure to hide it good, like if you havea really thin camera, shove it in your shoe and take it out just before mcr gets on stage. also, the opening bands are amazing!! billy talent was my fav, but i liekd driveby a lot too. have fun!!!!!

My first time going to an MCR concert was a few years ago and it was awesome and I'll never forget it. Gerard tells some really cool stories and he says it's because he was drunk for three years. Their were also some other bands there and they were pretty good, but no one is better than MCR (in my opinion).

It was incredible. At first, I didn't feel like I belonged much, I felt very young and inexperienced. It was my first concert ever. But once the music started, and Gerard stepped off the gurney, all that mattered was the band. I felt like this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Just stay there, with all the other MCR-obsessed people and listen.

Projekt Revolution was in town on my birthday, MY BIRTHDAY, but my parents said that I'd already seen them and I didn't need to see them again. But I did NEED to see them again. I feel so deprived. LOL

It was in April 07 in KOKO bar in Camden(UK)

I really wanted to see them one day, because they were one of the best modern day bands. And i felt really lucky when i got free tickets :D

They started off with GIVE EM HELL KID. Everyone went crazy. It was a song you could really freak out with.

But the rest of the gig was kind of dull. There was nothing special about the gig. I mean- all their songs were energetic and adrenaline rushing. But there wasnt nothing special about it.

All the songs were just how it would sound on the radio or w.e. There wasnt any encore breaks, or when gerrard would stop to get the crowd involved.

It might've been just one of those days, MCR wasnt feeling that great. I was very dissappointed. Im pretty sure they are not going to be like that forever... soooo.. im going to see them in the 02 next month:P (november) :D

Wish me luck! hehe

:D

Wow...you're right. It's very intense. I first saw them in February, and I started crying and freaking out when Gerard was wheeled onto the stage on a gurney. I will never ever forget that concert. I also saw them on Proj. Rev. and it was almost equally amazing. They are such a great live band. I love them so much more after seeing them in concert, any fan who hasn't seen them live REALLY needs to.

I've never been able to see them live...

=[

The only big music acts that come around here where I live are older bands such as Electric Light Orchestra, Three Dog Night, Joan Jett, etc... it's cool to see those kinds of musicians of course, but it'd be nice to see bands like MCR as well.

I'm jealous of you. Bob's drumstick? Ahhh.... ^__^
