No. The threat of Hillary Clinton will prevent this. They will talk the talk but ultimately the insiders of the Republican Party will come down hard on the need to beat Hillary and they will do whatever it takes to keep the party in line.

No, the Christian right will continue to make deals with fiscal conservatives and try to steer the Republican party. A third party would split the right and leave it impotent for a long time to come.

sure let Them. this country need a 3rd and 4th party. this federal government is not for the people and soon the federal government will take over this whole country. there not going to be a state and local government like Bush try and them stole Louisiana to get federal control from the state for the American believe that this government is here to serve them and its not. the so-called Christian Conservatives to me are well organizes nut job for there no love for everyday people but they can organizes and is doing the right thing in making a 3rd party.

I read that article, too. Anything is possible, but they'll do their best to blow smoke and Hellfire, first at select candidates. Basically, they couldn't come up with a candidate with enough general appeal to be a serious contender; they need to ride into Washington on the coat tails of someone with much more influence and popularity.

Unlikely, their leaderships is fracturing and has been for some time now. Their days as a political force are coming to an end.

That would be great, then the Republican party might return to some aspect of respectability. Since they went evangelical, they all started to sound insane.

They can form their own country as far as I'm concerned. America doesn't need them. All they do is hold us back.

P.S. "Conservative Christian" is an oxymoron.
