I think it would all depend on what was going to be hitting me in the rear.
Think about it, if it was an 18 wheeler from the rear and cement road block in front, I THINK NOT!!
My husband in the rear and the side of my bed in front, I would take the impact to avoid the bed getting the comforter dirty. :O)

Yes, I would take it in the rear because than the person behind me would be at fault, if I get the rear of the one in front of me than I would be at fault!!
