on "oh my god" he had his name on it, but Lillie's wasn't on it!
and other times both his and the artists name is on it!
he only produced it, the person we want to know about is the artist, not the producer!!

am i the only one that thinks he does thins to get famous like timbaland?
and speaking of timbaland, why does he always have to be in the songs he produces? id that a demand of his or does the artist want him there? hhhmm

Isn't it called sampling and then they put the original artists name on there too.
That's the way I understood it. The original writer should of course get royalties.

I agree, but actually the song "Oh My God" was originally done by The Kaiser cheifs, and "Valerie" by The Zutons.I think that can be the case with Timbaland aswell take the song "Appologize" for instance there was already a version of it,but Timbaland added a change to the music and his 'Yeah' voice in the background and gets something for it,I mean fair play to him but the song is sometimes credited by him featuring One Republic.

If you think that Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse would have had songs on the radio without Mark Ronson, you're mistaken. Amy can't even keep her head out of the toilet and a needle out of her arm long enough to write her name half the time, leave alone write songs, and you can find five Lily Allens walking down the street in London any day of the week.
