If Bush would quit borrowing to pay for the endless war, the dollar would rise against the Euro.

With a 9 trillion dollar national debt, The Bush Regime needs to get with reality.

As for oil prices, it will continue to rise...that's what happened when you elect a Texas oilman to the White House.

Well, the last Iraq spending bill was over twice that (95 billion), in May, and the euro has gained about 7 cents since then. So, maybe, if you attribute the change entirely and exclusively to the debt-financing of that 95 billioin, and assume something similar this time, the dollar might slide another 3 or 4 cents vs the euro.

But that money can save lives. It can pay for armor, food, medical supplies, etc. And maybe help Iraq stand by itself.
