Forgetting to take 1 active pill - increases your chances of pregnancy that month.
Inactive pill - doesn't matter. They're sugar pills...placebos. You don't even have to take them.

You can get pregnant no matter whether you forgot the pills or not. Birth control pills are only up to 99% effective with PERFECT use. Missing an active pill makes you more likely to get pregnant, but I don't think missing an inactive pill really affects your chances, seeing as it doesn't contain the hormones that suppress ovulation.

The inactive pills don't even need to be taken. When you get to those is when you should be starting your period. I always started mine on the 3rd day of the inactive ones. Since you missed one of the active pills you need to take a pregnancy test before starting a new pack. Preferably a blood test at your doctor's office.

Yes, they're is a big chance that you could get pregnant. By missing one of the birth control pills, you opened yourself up to the chance of getting pregnant. The 'inactive' pills are placebo's which mean that they don't really do anything, which is why you are not supposed to have unprotected sex while you're taking them. That is also the time you're supposed to get your period.

hmmm i never took the inactive pills at all. They just keep you on track so missing one doesnt really matter. So no missing the inactive pill should not increase your chances of pregnancy.
ALSO the 1 active pill, you should take it, even if it means taking 2 pills at a time.
Hope this helps :)

Inactive are what they sound like. You don't have to take them but it helps keep you in a routine. It is very unlikely but your chances are slightly higher.
