How much water is enough to fully function a 145 pd body. Say you only have like a water bottle full of water. How much mLs of that water would you need to rejuvenate yourself and function normally while trying to preserve as best as possible. How long could the bottle of water last in such a situation? Assuming the person doesn't just chug the whole thing down at once and wants to rationalize it.

Unfortunately, nobody can really definitively answer this question. Part of the reason is that nobody wants to try and get testers to drink less and less water until something bad happens to them.

Another part of the reason is that water needs vary by a HUGE amount. If you're in a warm climate or doing work, you're probably going to sweat, which ups your needs. If the air is dry you'll lose more than if its humid... but then your sweat is less effective in humid environments so you might sweat more than you otherwise would. And everyone gets a certain amount of water from their food, so depending on whether you eat watery fruits or dry cereal you may need more or less. Each person also has their own variations on what they take in and put out too (I exhale so much water I tend to instantly steam up all car windows).

A kidney expert at the National Institute of Health suggested that an average, inactive adult in a temperate climate would need no more than one (1) liter of fluid per day. This is the amount that many people get from their diet, so it is conceivable that a person could survive without ANY additional water. I wouldn't try it, myself.

Keep in mind, too, that sometimes you use water for other things than drinking if you're in a 'survival situation' - you may need to clean wounds, boil foods, lubricate devices, and other stuff as well. Whenever I go hiking, I just carry as much water as is practical. I can always pour it out if I don't care for the weight, but it is sometimes difficult to get more if I don't bring it.

you have skipped over particularly some variables that would make a great distinction. Are you interior the open or sheltered? Do you have sufficient clothing? Are you injured? Are you in open water, or the wasteland, mountains, sea coast? Do you have nutrition? do you're able to stay busy surviving or are you able to be nevertheless for long sessions?

Average person need 2-3 L of water each day to maintain a healthy body that is critical to survival. You will require more water if it's a hot day.
