Simplify to a monomial or binomial.

6(A + 2) + 5A

i thought it was something like
6A+8

The 6 next to the bracket is multiplied. It is multiplied by everything within the brackets.

6*(A+2) +5A
6*A + 6*2 + 5A
6A +12 + 5A
11A +12

6(A+2)+5A
=6A+12+5A
=11A+12
if you simplify it, it should be that answer above but i'm not sure if that's the answer you're looking for because of the monomial/binomial

if you need to solve it...this is how you do it
11A+12
=11A=-12
=A=-12/11

6a+12+5a=
11a+12
and that's your answer!

first do distrubutive property
6 x A= 6A
6 x 2= 12
now you have.......
6A+2+5A add like terms.....
11A+12 is the answer i get
