Today on the beach, and the view was the Mountains of the Lake District or Morecambe Bay depending which way I looked! I live in South Cumbria, on the Furness Peninsula, I'm either at the beach or up on the Hills every day with the Dog and the views are spectacular and I always take time to admire them. Even looking out of my window I can see the Irish Sea and if the weather is clear The Isle of Man.
It reminds me daily what a Beautiful thing the Earth is!

As a matter of fact it was yesterday. A bench at the park over looking the Cumberland River. Sun shinning on the lake, gentle breeze making ripples on the water, peaceful and quiet and, Oh yes, a really good book.

Today i sat on a bench to eat my lunch. It was in a garden in front of a church in South London. The view wasn't that great really, just some flowerbeds, a few trees and a lot of traffic.

today at lunch at a park across the street from my work. I watch a group of older men playing cards, a lady walking her dog that was bigger than her. I watch the horses across the park at the stables run. I watched a gardener do some work, I watched a squirrel run around in circles on a trunk of a tree, it's funny because seeing all this I felt like everything was in total silence. I heard no sounds, I just sat back and watched the world go by for that short amount of time. I haven't done that in a long time. It was nice.

hmm i think this is a great question. I can remember it was actually last week and i decided to eat a sandwich on a bench in my local park it was overlooking the lake and i watched a family feed the ducks which then reminded me of happy times as a child and i felt that little bit happier. Suprising what a relaxing thing it is.

In August, when a good friend pasted away,it was'nt a bench but a big rock down by a river.A river will take your memories of a lost loved one to the ocean where those memories grow even larger.Sorry, probably told you more than you wanted to know

I live in a built up area, but whenever I can get away I always take the time to view that which is beautiful around me. Hell, I don't know how long it's gonna be there, so I make the most of it!!

About a week ago: I was sitting on the trunk of my car looking out my garage into my neighborhood. The green leaves (which are starting to change colors) were blowing in the light wind and the sun was shining. I was breathing the almost fresh air. (pollution is always in the atmosphere ya know!) ah...It was truely calming.
