i have been divorced for almost 2 yrs, but we still live together. i want to date other people but its hard to get away. i dont want to hurt his feelings, but i'm tired of living a lie...any suggestions?

How many suggestions do you want? First one is get out on your own and get your own place. Your situation is even worse than being divorced with kids and trying to figure out when to introduce the new man to your kids. I don't understand your comment of " I don't want to hurt his feelings". The two of you are divorced !!!! Don't tell me the two of you are still sleeping together !!!! I guess he's not dating either? You need your own space.

First you really need to put yourself first...MOVE OUT.
How can you be divorced and still live with the guy??? If you own a home 2gether then agree to put it up for sale and split the profits and MOVE OUT..It is time you are on your own.
Your living a lie everyday living with him. Think about this, when you are out and meet someone new how do you explain your living relationship?
If I were the guy you were trying to hook up with I would think yours nuts.
So do yourself a favor, find a life on your own. Don't say you can't. YOU CAN, just do it!

See a lawyer.
This is usually the part of divorce contract, who stays where, who keeps house or apartment.
If you have the income move out, is he obligated to you to support you or the other way around.
Why would you have a divorce if you were to be together for 2 years after the divorce?
Correct the situation now.

If I were you I would scrape up enough money for a plane ticket to Hawaii and become a beach bum. There is no way that I would live with my ex-husband, I would be a bum for sure before I would. There is no way I could live with someone that I could divorce.
Oh, and don't tell him where you are going unless kids are involved, you can tell him after you get there in that case.

You are divorced and now you should be able to do your own thang, but you or he needs to move out first.
Stop wasting your life being unhappy.

Best thing is move out. Do you have kids? I guess I ask that to try and figure out why you still live there? I would think moving out getting your own place would be the best thing Good Luck
