I'm making a presentation tomorrow about detecting lies. I wanted some instance from movies where someone lies so I can show it to the class. Thanks.

The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996)~In this one, a deception snowballs. It's based on "Cyrano de Bergerac".
Lying (2006) (I haven't seen this~just read the summary.)
Big Fat Liar (2002)~A man takes credit for a boy's work.
Charade (1963)~A woman is thrown into intrigue because her husband lied then was murdered.
Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964)~another web of deception, with everyone keeping secrets, with a diastrous end for a pair of conspirators
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)~Jane's life is destroyed by the guilt she feels over crippling her sister, something she did not do. Jane's sister tried to kill HER and was injured in the accident; Jane has been told that she was too drunk to remember.
The Maltese Falcon (1941)~This is a maze of lies, especially those told by the woman the detective is falling for, who turns out to be the person who murdered his partner.
Shadow of a Doubt (1943)~A girl comes to realize that her uncle is a serial killer.
Harriet the Spy~A girl keeps a journal about classmates, which is found and read by friends, turning them against her.

Many of these films are built on a single lie or a mesh of them. Actually, aren't most suspense/thriller/mystery stories built upon deception(s)?
