Will the Call of Duty 4 game be less laggy than the Call of Duty 4 Demo?

Hi, I downloaded the demo like a week ago. Played it and was very laggy. So I turned down a lot of the stuff and turned off a lot of the stuff and turned up the refresh rate and all that stuff. I see a pretty big difference, but I still lag if I look at the big buildings and really graphic parts. I don't have a great graphics card, but I would think I would see better performance. When the Call of Duty 4 game comes out... will it be less laggy than the Demo? Because mayb they are still working on it. And are the maps in the Call of duty 4 not as graphic as the map is in the demo?

if anything I would say more, because it would have more detail, more maps, larger maps, but I could be wrong
