By standard, I mean the headphones with the puffy things to protect your ear. More importantly, the type of plug they use. Do Ipod Headphones have smaller plugs?

Reason being is that Ear nubs I've used haven't given a good enough quality as the head phones. I had a pair of ear nubs made by Panosonic that gave excellent quality, but their long gone.

If you used Headphones AND Ipod ear nubs, then you can say if the quality is good or not.

most headphones will work with iPods, as long as they are the standard size jack. The 2 exceptions are the iPod touch and iPhone, as i have heard that they may not work with other headphones.
