Im planning on getting an ipod touch and it looks really cool. It has wifi which is awesome. You can download apps off the internet for the ipod touch now. There is a facebook app,many different games,a weather application and many more. here is the link it shows all the available apps http://www.apple.com/webapps/

it is quite a nice device, and it comes with a youtube app, wifi internet access, and an online music store built-in. I personally do not think it is worth what they are charging for it, maybe about $100 less would be ok.
