I need help. i think i might be pregnant but a month and a half ago was my last time having "fun" with my boyfriend i havent done it since and a few days later i stopped taking the birth control pills. Lately, i have been feeling really tired, my breast have been swollen, my lower back hurts. I took the test just yesterday and i came out Negative. But im still conocerned. Im only 16 and this wasn't suppose to happen. Im scared of what my mom is going to think and what my dad is going to do. My boyfriend is the type of person that would be there 100% of the way. But the problem is that he lives far far away that i can only see him on vacation time. and he doesnt have papers to come over here. He loves the idea of it, and is willing to do anything. I have joked around with my mom lately about having a baby and she acts really cool about it but i mean it was a joke. I dont know what to do I think i have missed my period because i stoped the birth control pil Do you guys think im pregnant?

Yes... It sounds like it.
I would wait another 1-2 week(s) and take another hpt using your first urine in the morning. Unfortunately, some women never have a positive hpt. If you begin to develop symptoms and still have a negative result, you should visit your doctor, Family Planning or Planned Parenthood and request a blood pregnancy test.
I don't know what to tell you about your parents... At least it sounds like you have a good boyfriend.
Good luck!

The symptoms you are having sound a lot like a pregnancy. However, they can be your body adjusting to getting off the pill or stress in your life. As with many things in life, it is hard to be sure until you are sure. lol
You CAN get pregnant the day after you get off the pill/birth control (just ask my friend). If it has been a month and half, a test should detect the pregnancy, so make sure you are taking it correctly (best time to take it is first urination in the morning; the hormone will be most concentrated then). If you are still having symptoms and show a negative test, go to the doctor or a clinic and they can do a blood test which is more sensitive. There are probably clinics around you that can help you and help keep your confidentiality.
If you are pregnant, there are many options out there for you. (See link below) You have to do what is right for you and your future.
I wish you all the best, and I feel for you. Take care.

It's not uncommon for your periods to be abnormal after coming off birth control. It takes a while for your body to get on its own schedule again. The likelihood of you being pregnancy is slim, but there is always a chance.... HOWEVER if you had sex over a month ago and took a pregnancy test which showed a negative result, you aren't pregnant. That's plenty of time for your body to produce the pregnancy hormone strong enough for a HPT to pick up.
Your swollen, sore breasts, and achiness is all in conjunction with coming off your pill. It's all hormonal!!! I once missed 3 pills in a row and suffered those same pains, and early, light period and was concerned something was not right. Those tiny pills are powerful. Give it more time..... but personally, I don't think you are pregnant.

The best thing is probably to wait and take another test or have a blood test done. Im am on BC also and there has been a time where i just stopped taking them but normally when you do that it makes you bleed because your body thinks its time for you period. but sometimes your BC pills make you feel pregnant when your actually not. They take to everyones body different.

i doubt it. if you quit your birth control after a month and a half of having sex then you would more than likely know by now. im having that problem too but its only ben 3 weeks since i may have gotten pregnant. i hadnt been on my birth control or two months before, i was expecting my period within days and it still hasnt come but tests say negative. idk whats going on. if its been a month and a half you should know something by now. good luck :)

there is a possiblility, since birth control only works if you take it on the regular, you may have gotten preg. since i think the sperm can survive in you for about 3 days?!?!(dont quote me) but what ever you do worrying about it will only make you miss your period, from stress! wait about 2-3 more weeks, and then take another preg. test this is too soon!!!! good luck, and be careful, and about your parents dont worry about it, their reaction when you ask "what if?" will be alot different when you are saying "I am"........also some of the signs you are having are similar to preg. but can also be from stress, or a coming on period, so sorry to say this its just a waiting game! but its a good thing you have a supportive boyfriend! good luck!

If you didn't stop the pill until a few days after having sex that last time then most likely you are not pregnant. It's probably your body readjusting itself to normal. Getting the hormones out of your system, etc.

PG sys mimick PMS so its more likely that you're going to start your period. If you have sex last 1.5 months ago, you can confidently rely on HPT results by now.
