Of course. Having crushes on other people are a normal part of being human. That doesn't mean you don't love your partner. The only problem is if you follow through on that crush and make it into something that can potentially harm your relationship. This is where you self-control comes into play. Also a time to reflect on all the reasons you love your partner and why you wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize what you have with her.

Yes, even in a committed relationship, people can have a crush on others. It may not be correct but it happens.

sure why not! When you think some one is cute, funny, has a great pesonality... all the things you feel your commitment is not, sure you can dvelope a crush on someone. its how you act upon those feelings that seperate you from being a dog or a gentleman! just remember not to let your feelings get out of hand! its only human to look at others, its human to be drawn to another personality. your maturity is what keeps you from being foolish.

I am married and I too develop crushes. I think we crush on those who have desirable qualities that our partner lacks. It's just fantasy. No harm unless you act on it.

you might.....
but you and your committed relationship should be strong enough to have you not act out on the crush.

uhm, yes. I live my husband though, and would never test the strength of our marriage. a crush won't hurt anyone as long as it is platonic.
