i live in a mormon community unfortunatekly so keep that in mind. plus i handed out 85+ invitations.

Some of the old tried&true things are best.
First, have the room they come into rather dark. In the doorway, hang black threads from the top of the door, spaced abouto 2 inches apart, so that when they come thru them, they feel like they're walking thru cob webs!! It works every time!
Bob for apples, that's always fun, no matter how old you are. Hang donuts from string and have a contest to see who can eat their donut first. Catch: n hands!!
Make a haunted house, black lights, scary noises, have touchy feely scary stuff, like cooked cold spaghetti, peeled grapes, knox blocks, decorate cookies. Make dessert, like ghosts in the grave yard. You make chocolate pudding, spread it in a cake pan. Crush Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top, to look like dirt. Put those oval shaped cookies from Peppridge Farm in like tomb stones, and little blobs of whipped cream with little black candies for eyes (those are the ghosts). Maybe a few gummy worms crawling in and out of the "dirt". and a few little pumpkin shaped candies. Have teams to each make one and have a contest.
That's to start.
Costumes are good, too.

For activites: Get with your friends and plan some things! There's always truth or dare and that stuff! Have your ipod or computer playing music all night so people have something to dance to! Have a color theme (EX. Blacke&Orange, Black&White). Then All your decorations can all kind of match! For food you can try and have Halloweeny foods, or if you think thats too childish then stick with regular food. If you want have games out like twister (It can be flirty and fun!) Have the party indoors and outdoors (depending on weather) for a variety. JUST HAVE FUN:) your crush will like you for sure after your party

hello, a book of Mormon Halloween story or maybe a prophet Halloween story, maybe a bible prophet story, since some Christians don't celebrate Halloween and Mormons and so Christians will have a hallelujah party, I thought mormons would at least have a party like their own religion.

What does living in a mormon community have to do with anything. As long as you aren't running around naked or buying drugs or alcohol for the teens, what's the problem.

YOU COULD BUILD A FIRE, ROAST MARSHMALLOWS, MAKE SMORES AND TELL GHOST STORIES WHILE SOMEONE IN THE HOUSE SETS UP THE MURDER SCENE.... HAVE SOMEONE TO SCREAM REAL LOUD AND HAVE EVERYONE COME INSIDE, TO START THE GAME.... LET YOUR HUSBAND OR ANOTHER CHILD IN YOUR HOUSE BE THE KILLER.....
