I have tried loads of variations on google, lots of regular attire pics but no black recovery suit ones :(

You mean the suit he had on after he came back from being killed by Doomsday...? I would think you could find that on line. have you tried searching on 'Superman in black'...?

Do you have a DVD player on/in your computer, does it have the ability of capturing a still Frame image
I have an old E-machine, w/ a Cyber-'something' DVD program, and it allows me to snap single frames off of DVDs and either make directly into wallpaper or transfer them to Paint/photo programs,if i want to stock pile images for variety, which i can then set as wallpaper as i wish w/o having to replay the DVD and hope i can react in time
