I'm going to get a puppy, and i'm stuck on what to name it. I'm not for sure if it's a boy or a girl yet, so please give names for both. I would like it if you would list as many names as you can think of, both boy and girl. Thank you for your help!!
=)

By the way, it will most likely be a poodle. =)

I love this sort of thing. Of course, it matters what kind of dog it is, so take that into consideration. Personally, I think cutesy dog names are cliché and tiresome. I'm a big fan of
For a lap dog (like a pomeranian):
Helen
Beatrice
Judith
Carol
Rhonda
Gwen
Albert
Rodney
Thomas
Hugh
Herbert
For a bigger dog (spaniel to lab size)
Stephan
Orson (I alsmot named my lab this)
Pierce
Seamus
Jerry
Peter
Wilson
Blue
Nina (I ended up getting a female lab instead, and named her this)
Vera
Ingrid
Maxine
Erlene
and for a giant dog (like a mastiff)
Sam
John
Grant
Will
Tim
Carl
Jane
Kate
Orla
Franny
i dont know if this helps or not, haha you were probably looking for normal doggy names, but oh well.

From my experience, you will feel the name when you meet the dog. Honestly. We adopted a dog that was nearly a year old and had never really had a name, and while I bonded with this dog I found a name that just kept coming back to me over and over ... and that is the name we chose. We have 4 dogs, and we did the same thing with each one - spent a few days just bonding with the dog and observing and names just came to us. That extra bonding time helped us to get to know our pets and their individual personalities.
Best Wishes!
if you still need names -
Willow
Gypsy
Simba
Rahjah
Djali (jolly)
Lyra (lih-rah)
Sassy
Shorty
Maui - Hawaiian demi-god
Kona (south side of the Big Island of Hawaii)
Nani - means beauty
Kane (kah-nay) - means male or man
Nina (nee-nyah) - little girl
Manu (mah-noo) - means bird
Always 2 syllables or less - easier for the dog to learn and remember it's name.

My personal theory is to give a dog the names you love, but know you can't use for a kid. My dog's name is Roxie. She came with the name Rexy, because they named her Rex thinking she was a boy, then called her Rexy. I didn't like it, and Roxie was cool, and close enough she didn't get confused.
For me, that would be:
Girls:
Boudicca
Jemima
Ruadh (ROO-ah)
Hermione
Jacintha
Ianthe (ee-ANN-ta)
Delacroix
Talulah
Alabama
Vespa
Boys:
Octavius
CuChulain (kuh-WHO-len)
Jerusha
Hector
Malachy
Guthrie
Phaedrus
Zeus
Mordecai
Zephyr
Jones

Princess, Snickerdoodle, Snickerpoodle (haha), Choco-Chip . . .
You could name it based on it's color. For example, the dog may be dark brown so you name it Brownie.
