I heard of a custom in another country where the local native people would save the umbylical chord when a baby was born, and they would grind it up and give it to the mother to eat for good luck....(weird AND gross!)

I will not mention the country or religion however I had the unfortunate experience of finding out that in this particular country in a certain religion if a Man commented to another Man on the Beauty of your wife he had the privilege of sleeping with her.

There is an African tribe I saw on the Discover Channel that for manhood initiation, they took the boy out to find his penis gourd. They go out, find a gourd, smoke and dry it out over a fire, then put their penises in there and walk around. It's their only "clothing." The gourds looked like long carrots and swayed back and forth as they walked. Very strange and funny.
