It's always more comfortable to have your spouse near you when you are falling asleep. Some nights I could be so tired that I can sleep alone, some nights I can't, I need the warmth of his body too soothe and calm me so I can sleep better.

When my husband started working away from home, he was gone a week at a time. At first I could not stand sleeping alone. So I would sleep in the sofa with the TV on all night.
But as time went by it did not bother me in the least to sleep alone. It just takes time to get used to it.

Before I was married- I LOVED sleeping with my soon- to-be-husband. I felt safe and secure knowing he was right beside me.
But after a few years of marriage- I also LOVE getting the bed to myself. It's not often- but I simply relish setting the bedroom to the temp I want, using as many pillows as I want, sleeping in the middle of the bed and not worrying about moving, bumping into, or waking someone else up.
Love the husband but I also love getting in some me time, I sleep like a baby when I get the bedroom to myself for a bit of time!

I'm not a fan of sleeping alone. It took me MONTHS to get used to sleeping alone after my last relationship ended.
Of course, now that I'm used to sleeping alone again, it will probably be awkward for the first few times I share my bed when I get into another relationship.

I would MUCH rather sleep with my partner. Sleeping alone just isn't as comforting - having him there makes my sleep more restful. When he's out of town or something, though, I cope allright - I know he'll be back soon. I just use my alone time to enjoy a nice book in bed or something.

I hate to sleep alone. My husband is in the army and has been deployed since march. Since he left I have to fall asleep on the couch watching T.V. I think the part I miss the most is the random hugs and kisses throughout the night.

I went away for an extended period of time and hated it. I got used to sleeping on my own but I hated it so much. There is nothing like snuggling up to you true love every night.
