Yes, it was the use of simple and complex groupings of subjects and predicates. These subjects and predicates were sequenced in a manner to capture the psyche of the reader and at time gave the reader information and pleasure.

Her style has been copied by other writers -- some better some very much worse.

It was pretty unique in her day - that's one of the things that made her so popular. Her subject matter was very out-of-the-ordinary as well. Not quite sure what you mean by what the style was, however. It was somewhat romanticized, but in other ways was very pragmatic.
