Touch screens are available right now. They are analog, not digital - old style, not flat screen (need a glass front as you cannot touch a flatscreen and expect it to stay clean). They are windows ready and will work with most windows programs. The downside is that they are more expensive.

HP makes one now. It's a regular flat screen monitor that uses touch screen as well as a mouse!!
