i thought i might want to check out some truly haunted place this halloween just for the fun. does anyone know any haunted places in the chicago suburbs area? mostly lake county? ive heard of an abandoned insane asylum but idk where it is i've also heard of "satan's pool" anyone know what that is?

well anyways... you go to this street...
park your car..
put baby powder on the edge of the trunk
get back in you car.
put it in nuetral
and bam!
your car starts
movin!
once you get
out of the car
you can
see small
hand prints

Troy Taylor has a whole book series of Haunted Illinois (we've done Alton and Springfield - they're pretty fun). Check them out at your local library.
http://www.hauntedillinois.com/h1.php lists some staged haunted attractions, but they also list tours of the truly haunted locales. Also check out Chicago's website; they might list some tours.

i know this doesnt answer the question as far as near chicago goes but theres TONS of places in new orleans...if your willing to make a 15 hour trip to get down there lol
but yeah they have all kinds of haunted graveyard tours and stuff
its awesome

I live in Britain's Oldest recorded town & I typed in Haunted (state my town) & loads of things came up. Maybe if you typed in Haunted Chicago you might surprize yourself!!

yeh ask most hanuted web site lol,, no i am only kidding but i guess the grave yards will be full of them and old places try a old house musem etc good luck have fun wouldnt catch me there iam scared of my own shadow lol
