what I'd do....make a thin paste with the soap & rub it in, let it sit, rub, sit, rub sit. If improved great, if not.....
add bleach to the paste & rub, watch, rub, watch, etc.... until I could see improvement & it was NEAR perfect. Then plunge it into the wash to stop the bleach action. (stain will appear darker than it really is when wet, but if you stop b4 it's completely clear & wash then dry, you're likely to have success...with bleach--it's not a death sentence-- You just have to be super careful....
If you're not brave or skilled, you might try Hydrogen Peroxide..... It's going to take more & longer to work, but it has a very gentle bleaching action.
If you weren't in a hurry I'd say put in out in the direct sunlight & keep reapplying lemon juice until the stain's gone. I use that remedy for so many stains!

Before you do anything take a finger nail brush some kind of soft brush and get as much dirt off as possible turn it inside out and do the same thing wash it once in cold water so not set the stain. It may already be clean and need to do nothing more! If stain is there take a white bar of soap wet it and scrub it inside and on the reverse side of it and rewash it! If still there I would throw a load of white towels in the wash fill the machine up and put about 1/2 cup of clorox bleach in let it go all the way Thru the tub and throw the sweat shirt in it will be fine trust me I do this with everything no stain gets buy me! I actually would probably try the bleach first but I cant see how much color is in that shirt!

Personally, I wouldn't take a chance on using chlorine bleach. Your chances of getting it out would have been a lot better if you hadn't waited a week, because now the stain is more likely to be set in. If you happen to have any enzyme spray (used for animal odors), that can sometimes work. If you have an automatic dishwasher, try using an old toothbrush and the liquid on the stain, or if you use dry powder, make a paste from the powder and water and scrub with a toothbrush. If all you have is detergent, preteat the stain with detergent and let it set a little while, then remoisten and scrub with a toothbrush, rinse, use more detergent, and try again. Just be SURE that you do not dry the sweatshirt in the dryer until you get the stain out. Once you do, the stain will be set for sure. Good luck.

Rub liquid detergent into the stain and throw in the washer and wash it.
DO NOT DRY IT until you look to see that the stain is gone.

shampoo and cold running water through the reverse of the stain. Mud on outside- turn it inside out and run water and shampoo through it. Repeat until gone.
