I live in the northwestern state of Washington. I subscribe to
two magazines from Reiman Publications that are aimed at
the over 55 crowd and more likely those in the 65 and older
categories. They encourage readers to send in pix of their
families during the times they grew up. Or they send in pix
and stories of their elders when they were young. So you see
a cross section of pix from the 1800's to the 1960's usually.
I get a bargain rate as I've been a subscriber for many years.
It's my one major splurge a year and it's not expensive. You
can check out their website at Remenisce.com and see the
mags they put out. Or Reiman Publications. com. I enjoy
seeing pix of the days when I was growing up. And reading
about things I can identify with as well. Often they'll have an
antique you may remember seeing from the old days. And
that makes you feel rather special for the moment LOL. It
also makes you feel old LOL.

When I was 50 yrs. of age, I used to buy a magazine called "Good Old Days." It was a great magazine & I'm not sure if it's still on the store shelves or not. Great stories in there. I loved the stories about Thanksgiving's Day & Christmas Day dinners with the families gathered around the table. I used to feel as though I was actually there. :)

Well I like this one a lot, www.GoodOldDaysOnline.com

There is a lot of stories told by folks that lived back in the "Good Old Days". I haven't bought this magazine in some time now. But enjoyed it very much when I was getting it.

I have a subscription to Grand Magazine. It's for grandparents, but I would assume, most of them are over 50. Here's a little more about this magazine . . .

I subscribe to a ladies magazine called "More". It's for women over 40 - 60ish. I really enjoy it. You have a couple of suggestions for AARP. That is probably the best senior magazine for all around informaiton. It's nice that you want to learn more about us!

There is a Seniors Magazine I have seen around, but seriously, with the price of food, I actually don't buy magazines anymore! I mean Marie Claire is $25.00!
