I paid for an item, on the day that the auction ended, and the seller had eBay put an alert to tell me to pay. On eBay, Paypal, and my bank statement it says that I have paid. What am I supposed to do? I don't want my account messed up because if this stupid seller. What actions am I supposed to take (besides repsonding to the alert)?

I would start by sending the seller the transaction number from Paypal. Also, has the person reported you to Ebay? If so, when they contact you, share with them the information from Paypal. Odds are, Ebay would figure out that payment has been made. When you go to your member page and look at the details of this auction, does it show that you have paid?

Respond to the alert noting the transaction number from paypal where you paid for the item. If it was paid thru paypal, then it will show up in the Ebay sellers account as paid. Ebay should be able to see this. What I am smelling here is a bogus seller. You can also contact Ebay thru live support and get help with this issue there. There should be an icon on the Ebay home page for that. Unfortunately, Ebay does not have it worked out where a seller or a buyer cannot leave neg feedback for no reason at all. It has happened to me several times where I get slammed even after leaving pos feedback for them. Post the sellers Ebay ID if you do not mind. I like to block nuts like this one, since they will also buy and ruin a good reputation. Good Luck

Have the seller double check, contact EBay Fraud Department (Basically Contact EBay), and contact Pay Pal about the issue.
