Now all of a sudden everyone is copying wwe and using the theme song "ladies and Gentleman" by saliva that wwe used for wrestlemania 23. Before them nobody used, now ufc uses it for thier new show wired, Fox used it to promote thier sunday primetime, the NHL used it in the stanley cup, and all these "extreme sports" (skateboarding, bmx, etc) events use it.Why are companies and people always taking cheap shots at wwe *ufc* but then copying them?

Actually the band Saliva is letting those companies use their song. Bands are about making money and unless WWE is willing to foot all the bands bills for life Saliva better allow more companies to use the song.

Imagine that a free market economy where people pay others for their work and people are allowed to sell their wares to whoever is willing to buy them. Why this Capitalism stuff could be the biggest thing since the discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel.

I really doubt that using a common theme song could be considered "copying".

People are always going to take shots at wrestling because they dont understand it.

well its a pretty good song. WWE opended the door for it and im guessing people heard it and thought it was a good song for promotions.

it is a good song..and i don't think they have a contract to say that they cant use it..it may be copy right but i learned in school that if they only use it for 30 seconds on tv or less it wont be considered copy right.

Because they are jealous that their product is better but people still watch WWE more than any other sport.

Kinda like the Chicago Cubs.

And I like the Cubs!
