okay so audittions were today (for a musical that the school i go to is having) and i froze up while singing so i am really sad that i didnt get a part and after that i went to the audition sheet and got alex's (u people should know who alex is by now but if u dont then he is my freind/crush/stand partner in orchestra) phone number (u have to put your phone # on the audition sheet by the office) but he doesnt know that i have his phone # and today him and i got in a discusion about crushes and he told me who he has a crush on but i lied i told hiim that i have a crush on steven (my crush from last year) and it has been killing me since so should i call him and/or tell him the truth or should i just keep it all to myself and never tell him that i like him and never call him (well at least until he gives me his phone # and he knows that i have it) but please i am really sad,confused, and just feel like i made a really big lie that is gonna destroy the world sorry about how long it is

I don't really think it's the lie that's going to destroy the world, even your world. If you like the guy, let it be known. You are a free agent, and not attached to anyone special, so it's no crime to show your attention to someone you fancy. As for the "lie", it was merely a coverup for your true feelings. You don't even have to explain it, unless he questions you about it. If so, just tell him you were too shy to tell the truth, or you could really lie this time, and say you lost interest in the other guy. He doesn't have to know your exact motives. People fib about these things all the time. It's part of the dating game. However, honesty is usually the best policy. At least it saves you from these negative and confused feelings. Good luck!

I would call him and tell him where you got it from and you were just checking to see what part he got and then make a big deal out of it

dont call him until he gives you an invitation to. he might think youre weird for taking his number the way you did. and maybe cuz you told him you like someone else he will be jealous. then you will get to know if he likes you.
