I have to do vocabulary and I am on the word "tonic". I have:
Tonic, Heard it, noun
prediction: a drink?
Definition: voice tone?
Dictionary definition: invigorating
sentance:

And I'm stuck. I was wondering if this sentance made since.

"The storm had such tonic, the wind was blowing, it was raining, and it was freezing outside."

Does it? Does it even sound good? If not, what can I do to correct it?

Thanks!

Tonic is usually a noun, meaning something good for your health; anything invigorating physically, mentally, or morally.

Example: His cheerful greeting was a real tonic.

A warm wind might be a tonic, but not a storm.
