I really liked catch 22, although when I first read it I hated it because it didn't make sense, but once I reached the end it all suddenly came together and it became good - it's really clever like that, and the whole idea of catch 22 is brilliant

Some of my favorite books include...
1. House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer
2. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
3. Animal Farm by George Orwell
4. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (and Rebel Angels the sequel)
5. Wicked by Gregory Maguire
6. Eight Men Out by Eliot Asinof
7. All the Harry Potter books (#7 is fitting).
These are not in any particular order.

I love the book "From the corner of His eye" by Dean Koontz, it is amazing!!!!
I also love the book of novellas "Different Seasons" by Stephen King, it has Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption and also the Body (the film was called stand by me).
Recently I read the book of short stories "Fragile Things" by Neil Gaimen, which was completely brilliant, absolute genius.
You could also try reading some graphic novels such as V for Vendetta by Allan Moore or The dark knight returns by Frank Miller.
Basically any book by Dean Koontz will be great.

Either Pride and Prejudice or Emma by Jane Austen. Both are fantastic, have great characters and each time I read them I discover something new. The style of writing takes a little while to get used to but once you do it is so worth it. Austen's narrative voice is really fun.

My fav books are the warriors books. They're about wild cats living in the forest divided up into 5 clans (ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and, where all the cats go when they die, StarClan). I never really liked cats but these are GREAT books. Plz just give them a chance.

Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, because I can re-read it countless times. It's also a book that I can dip into at any point, and still find myself enthralled by the story.

The last couple of Harry Potter ones are good - i didn't like the first ones =/
Or there's Twilight By Stephenie Meyers < that's more for teens though.
Books by Stephen King are meant to be good. I tried reading one of them but didn't have time =/
"Wicked" by Gregory Maguire was awesome! There's a new musical of it as well.
don't know whether that's any help! i just like books =)

My favourite is 'The Vatican Cellars' by Andre Gide (in English translation). It's a moral tale - by turns hilarious, heroic and repugnant - and the reader is given a compliment towards the end.

My favorite book is the Bible. Well this book has been around for centuries and it does change peoples lives. It sure changed mine e.g. my view of people from bias into more understanding.
It covers all things in the supernatural, government structures to individuals.
Thanks
