I dunno what's with me. I purchased Tales of Symphonia for gamecube the day it came out and I've only played it twice. Bought Shining Force Neo for PS2 and am at the end of the game. I dunno why I'm not 'motivated' to finish a game ever. Like, even Zelda - Twilight Princess; I've only finished the first temple.
It's like that with all 40+ games I have... I just never finish. Got more than enough time to play em, just never do. Even pokemon diamond... got excited when I got 150 went to the next part... just no longer motivated to finsh up let alone see whats next. Help

I don't think it's the RPG thing as I loved Final Fantasy 7, 8 (8 = favorite), Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, spent 3 years on FFXI, and 2 on World of Warcraft (and still play it today.)
I've beaten every single sing in Guitar Hero II (on expert) except for Jordan. I don't have ADD. I honestly dunno what it is.

It sounds like you don't have the attention span for long games. My boyfriend has the same problem, and he refuses to play RPGs because of this. Try more action-type games like God of War, or Devil May Cry. These games are long enough to be entertaining, but short enough that you won't get bored.

Maybe the fear of finishing a game? Or maybe you're playing the wrong games. I quit playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City because it started getting way too hard, and the story wasn't as catchy as I thought it would be. I pretty much finished playing everything else. So find something you really like, not just out of curiosity or impulse.

It wounds like you simply don't like RPG-ish games or have ADD (which frequently go together)

Because once they're done you know there isn't gonna be any fun left in them.
