England definately have the players and the potential to win the world cup, but when they reach the quarter finals fail to put together a solid effort. Also decisions also seem to go against them, whether that is a coincidence i do not know. If they maintain a high level of confidence which grows from game to game they have every chance.

No because there is no team just a load of big headed individuals. England will not win the world cup until it changes it's name to Britain. As there are no more English men who play football, only British men now. Thank you Tony Blaire

We won it 4 years ago and only lost the final this year because of a disallowed try from Mark Cueto. We've got loads of young talent e.g Tait, Flood, Strettle and can only get better for 2011. We just have to hope Jonny can kick well.

i'm English to the bone but the england football team is just a constant disapointment they should have won it in '06 they had the best team out there by far and they still f@%ked it up ............i swore when they got knocked out that i would not wear an england football shirt or watch a england match again unless they get to the semi's of a major tornament and i'm sticking to it.

yes. but need to change a lot. they need to change their manager. they need manager like jose mourinho. they need manager that can control their players. england player are overrated and think they better than anyone. thats why they dont have passion in their game. so, they need manager like mourinho to control this. so, yes, england will win the world cup but something need to do first.

you spelt England wrong. please check spelling before posting questions. I'm English but i don't think England will win again because the manager messes around with the players 2 much and England's crap
