As a cricket umpire I can tell you that there are 42 laws of cricket. The last lot of laws were revised in 2002. See if you can get to the website of the MCC, you will be able to download the laws from there. If not e-mail me at tezinnsw@hotmail.com

Im going to sound like a bit of an idiot here but there are no rules is cricket. There are laws but no rules. But if you want to know the laws of the game I suggest google it, which is probably a lot faster than putting this question up on yahoo and waiting for replies. BBC sport is a good site, and maybe try the icc.com. In there should be a link that will tell you all you need to know.

The rules of cricket are plenty.
There is no way that I can type in all the rules in Y! answers, even though I know them.

However, I can redirect to a link where it says all about cricket. That would be really helpful.

If you want to know about Cricket practically, go to youtube and check out some of the cricket matches. It will also help you understand better once you have gone through the above link.
