How has it not? You ask a very broad question here friend, as anthropologists ans other scientists tend to have a hard time agreeing on just what defines technology.
Technology affects and includes (but is not limited to)the medicine I take, the optics I wear to correct my sight, the shoes I wear, the fabric of my pants, the toothbrush i use twice a day, the salad I eat at lunch, the car I drive to work, the watch on my wrist, the cast when I broke my arm, the gas I put in my car, The computer I type on, the telephone, the TV....so much more I dont have time to list it all...

Technology can be as complex as a multibillion dollar super computer, and as simple as a rock.

How has it not?

My food keeps longer because of refrigeration.

I get well because of medicines.

I stay connected because of computers and cell phones.

I know where I am because of GPS.

This list is endless.
