It's ok to be in a spa or hot tub as long as you are not elevating your body temp over 101.

"The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) states that becoming overheated in a hot tub is not recommended during pregnancy. ACOG also recommends that pregnant women never let their core body temperature rise above 102.2º F."

Monitor the water temperature with a thermometer and pay attention to warning signs such as becoming uncomfortably hot or if you stop sweating.

not really safe. If it is the kind of one that is in the room and you control the temp of the water, then it is. The problem with hot tubs is that they raise your body temp and this can cause brain damage in your baby. also with the chlorine that is in it, when the spa is on, the air vapor around the spa contains it and you breathe it in and this can effect your lungs as well as your babies developing lungs. Ask your doc though, he can give you more info.

you are not supposed to sit in a spa or hot tub while preg, it raises your body temp too high and is unsafe for baby.
if it is the kind that is a bathtub spa and you fill it up im sure its fine if you control the temp. talk to your doc
