In Tang Dynasty, Empress Wu Ze Tian 武则天. Not only a empress of the ealier emperor, but also a lady emperor.

In Qing Dynasty, The Dowager Ci Xi 慈禧.A empress of the ealier emperor,and also an Archon actually.

I'd like to add some more that are not mentioned yet.

Fighter:
梁紅玉 (Liang Hungyu), the wife of General 韓世忠 (Han Shi Zhong). Together the couple defeated the Jurchens in the Song Dynasty.


Poets:
杜秋娘 (Du Qiuniang), poet in the Tang Dynasty

李清照 (Li Qingzhao), famous poet in the Song Dynasty

朱淑貞 (Zhu Shuzhen), poet in the Song Dynasty


Empresses:
妲己 (Daji), the cruel queen of the last king in the Shang Dynasty

呂雉 (Lu Zhi), the ambitious empress of 劉邦 (Liu Bang), the first emperor of the Han Dynasty. She wanted to take over China even before Liu Bang died.

長孫皇后 (Empress Zhangsun), the wise empress of 唐太宗 (Emperor Taizong, whose original name was 李世民 Li Shimin)

韋后 (Empress Wei), the empress of 唐中宗, the son of 武則天 (Wu Zetian). She wished she could one day take over Tang just like Wu Zetian but never succeeded.


Princesses:
文成公主 (Princess Wencheng), a princess married to Tibet during the reign of Tang Taizong. SHe brought lots of Chinese things to Tibet.

長平公主 (Princess Changping), daughter of 崇禎, the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty ended when she was 15, and her father got totally frustrated that he killed lots of people in the royal family and chopped off her left arm. She died at the age of 17. She has been adapted into many Chinese novels, films and TV series, and in the popular culture her life is much longer.


Beauties:
褒姒 (Bao Si), a beauty married to 周幽王 (King You of the West Zhou Dynasty). King You fired the beacon many times to make her laugh. This resulted to the loss of trust from the nobles and, finally, the end of the West Zhou Dynasty.

(貂嬋 appears in history books anonymously. The name 貂嬋 was given by 羅貫中, the author of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.)
