Mythology is invented folklore, usually a moral story. Russia has plenty of real, true stories, that are scarier than any mythology.

My great aunt saw Bigfoot and it's no joke, either, and my grandmother saw two mermaids "walking" in the Siberian woods, and they were just floating and not really walking. She said she ran for her life. I'm serious. This is not mythology, but I thought I'd share this with you.
