I just received an email from one of our "visitors" from last night. I do believe it was the head "organizer" himself. Here is a small excerpt...

Just a friendly note to thank you for allowing some very zany people to invade your section. Regarding your answer on being violated, I can assure you with the utmost confidence that NONE of the people who visited you reported ANY of the q&a. They are all respected people who have either lost accounts due to violations and / or are tired of the lax response from Yahoo regarding their OWN violations. Please do not consider ANY of them a threat to your account. They do not even give thumbs down when they are travelling.

I was able to assure him most sincerely that I had NEVER blamed any of them at all for this.

My point is that these are REALLY NICE people, and we should get into the habit of having Hillbillie nights, don't you think?

Oh, jeez Felines....the possible story lines! Hillbillies in the Highlands!! Oh wait, aren't they relocating to Oz?

I sent him a link to this question. Maybe a regular Hillbillie night, on Sundays would be ideal. It certainly makes a REALLY NICE change from the snide school crowd!

Well, there you have it, from the horse's mouth Y'ALL...with a little warning they will be upon us again. Now let us be ready to welcome them with open arms this time, and participate as and how we can.

And to heck with the trolls who want to take our fun away from us!

I am game, and if I am here I will participate wholeheartedly. Shall we all spend the next few days perfecting our "personas" for the next invasion?

Hey I am all for it. I had a lot of fun with them last night. I just wish their questions didn't come so fast. I have not laughed so much as I did last night when they were on. They were a blast.

I have gotten emails that have made me cry from happiness that is for sure.

I have to admit that I had an edge in this deal, for I know two of the guys from other areas...These Aussies have always been fun, crazy, zany....and were driven off the site by trolls at one time or another, they are extremely polite, always just plain old fun...I am sorry if I got upset that anyone here would report them, but someone did! These guys have no ulterior motives, they just like to have fun and NO ONES expense, and that is exactly what they did last night. AT least one of their questions was reported...and I feel this is outrageous.. it was the question, "how do you get squirrel meat out of your teeth"...now what in the world could offend anyone about this? They already know me, and that I would never do anything to hurt them. I have played with them before in other incarnations, and they are just as nice a guys as you can meet.
I got a violation notice this morning about the question, "sons...etc." I would love to know how that offened anyone here, but...as usual, it offends someone, and that someone can go to hell as far as I am concerned. Sorry to be so blunt, folks, but if you cannot come here and have a good time, the go back to Religion where everyone is fighting all the time. OR better yet, get the hell off the computer all together. And I am quite sure this answer will get me a violation also..big deal...like I really care! Goldwing

Yes, I've received e-mails like that. It's very nice of them to write to you. I didn't think they were the ones giving violations or thumbs down, (I see I'm getting thumbs down on answers again today), and I DID NOT report/thumbs down them. They just took us by surprise and we didn't know what to think.

I was hurt when an 'answer' suggested it looked like the 'WV category', since I'm from there. I didn't recognize 'the answerer', but it pained me to see all the support-'thumbs up', the remark got from folks here. It was a real eye-opener.

Anyway, I hope our 'visitors' will come again and let us participate. They do seem to be a nice bunch of folks and we could really get some 'tall tales' going around here. lol

Just got back on and am glad to see so many happy people here! Looks like now we can all get on to just being neighborly and enjoying each other.

I'm all for a Hillbilly night too.....but don't be surprised if our new friends pay us a visit sometime under a whole different guise. They showed us last night just how good they are at this!

Looking forward to seeing them all again....sooner, not later!

Hi, Uncle Smiley!!

I'm not a doctor but I know that is its possible you are suffering from depression which is normal after a grievance and everyone can understand how you feel. Try to talk to someone as letting out could be what you need. And when you feel sad, try to do something you enjoy or keep yourself busy with something. It's not bad to get councelling, explain to your dad that you need to talk and that you need him to understand. Try to explain that you are not losing it and that councellers are not for mental people, they are NOT, they are there to help you understand your feelings and Inshallah make progress with them so that you can feel better. I know this sounds weird, but eat chocolate when you feel sad. It relases endorphins. Most of all, make Dua for your mother. Don't despair on the promise that we are given by Allah. Just pray that Inshallah you will both meet again. Salaam Sis Have faith in Allah

I've received two today from a couple very nice ladies from your section (Sage Seeker & slk29406) who were there last night, and this morning when the violations started rolling in. LOL.
I didn't cry but they did make me smile with their kind words for our "gang", and for thanking us for the fun last night & even inviting us back!
I think a regular hillbilly night sounds like a lot of fun. As someone said earlier this morning--"You guys rock!" :)))

I get pictures in emails of my new granddaughter every morning and they make me cry cuz I cant hold her. As for the hillbillies I was not aware of what was going on but got a kick out of reading them later on. Sounded like you`all had a good time.

That was very nice of them. They do seem like a friendly bunch. Maybe the folks in seniors should start paying some other areas a visit, ya reckon? Oh, now I'm starting to sound like them!

Since we know they have a sense of humor, maybe they'd get a chuckle from this . . .

A hillbilly came running into the store and said to his buddy, "Al, somebody just stole your pickup truck." Al said, "Did you see who it was?" The hillbilly replied, "I couldn't tell, but I got the license number!"

I missed all last nights fun and when I read it later I wish I had witnessed it live so to speak. Being a brit I didn't understand a lot of it, but reading between the lines brought a few laughs into my life today.

Thanks for passing the message on Iritadragon. They sound a great group, I hope they do visit us again soon.

I wish Donya accepted email, as she thinks she has upset them and is switching off for a couple of days, hope someone can tell her to come back. Hugs x

a regular hillbilly night would be fine with me as long as we are forewarned - i really was afraid it was a troll attack, but it wasn't me that reported them. can't say that i particularly cared for a few of the questions, but report - NO . some of the others gave me a chuckle but since i'm not quick on my feet like most here, i really couldn't answer any.
who knows it may just have been our resident troll that has cost us so many that reported as it seems like most enjoyed them
maybe we should all hit them en masse with emails inviting them to come and play again !! what do you think - would that be okay?!

well i think i got all of them that accept email - if not i apologize and want to welcome them here
